THE REST OF THE OWLS

I first started make glass owl beads in 2007. If you are interested in seeing their development from very humble beginnings take a gander at the images below.

There's so much to love about owls! Legends of wisdom, mysterious nighttime appearances, hooting, BIG eyes, swivelling heads and just plain cute.

What a remarkable subject to explore in glass. I find lots of inspiration both by looking at different species, primitive interpretations and the glass that is available.

I really don't know how to stop making these owl lampwork beads, if I kept them all I would have hundreds, so they can often be found on ebay looking for new homes.
