1. Owl Nouveau
This has to be one of my all time favorites. I love the patinae
effect and the jewel-like eyes, it reminds me of the art nouveau
period in it's colour sense. |

2. Blossom
My first blossom bead and the start of a new breed of owl.
The eyes are beautifully intense, love this little one.
|

3. Honey Blossom
A new technique for me that is extreme 3D. Each feather is 'imploded'
within clear glass, often used for flowers but all I saw were
owl feathers. |

4. Aurora
The eyes! the eyes!!. |

5. Ollie
Organic and curvy with lots of silver. He's puffed his feathers
out to guard against the cold. |

feathers. |

leaf headgear. |

close to each other. |

12. Pinky
The colours are comparable in intesity but also complementary,
so somehow it works (for me it does anyway!) |

13. Dovey
Sweet expression and I used shards for the first time. Shards
are thin pieces of glass that are laid over the bead shape and
can add interesting textures and colours. |

14. Dr Know
Has a wonderful air of mystery. |

15. Piccolo - keeper
He's perfect to me. Never let him go! |

16. Monk
Similar to Fortescue but deep interesting colours. |

17. Fortescue
A new kind of shape I find very cute. |

18. Perridew
Yummy colour and this shape really appealed to me. |

19. Helen
First time I used a beautiful new glass now called Terranova.
The glass was given to me by a friend and so I named the owl
after her. |

20. Violetta - keeper
Wonderful deep intense violets, indigos and blues with some
enhancing complementaries. Very happy - I don't know if I can
part with her. |

21. Humphrey
Such an exccentric fellow. A favorite glass used for his body
called Silver Cinnamon.
|

22. Judge
An experimental that was a happy success. |

23. Kookachoo
Who can resist this funny character? |

24. Laverne
So precise. Beautiful intense purples achieved using Terra glass
on her front spots. |

25. Magnus
Another created with shards. Subtle pretty colours. Harmonious. |

26. Moody Who
I just love the colours, Michaelangelo glass gives me something
new this time that gives me more to aspire to. |

27. Padme
She just looks perfect to me
|

28. Peachy Keen
Handmade colour for her body. Turned out purdy. |

29. Tiny Tim
He was so little and bright-eyed.
|

30. Rachel
She looks so elegant. |

31. Rustilda
Bright expression and made from an unusual glass. Love the shape
of her tail. |

First time I encased the body in clear and used a razor for
texturing. I love the colour. |

33. Siegfried
He comes from a water world. Even his pupils are floating.
|

34. Tom - keeper
One of my alltime favorites. I don't know if I will ever be
able to part with him. I love how the colours echo in the body
and eyes even though they are completely different glasses.
|

35. Gracie
Such a sweet inquisitive expression and beautiful eyes, great
colour. |

36. Sven
He appeals to me. Reminds me of an other-worldly creature, glowing. |
