1. Owl Nouveau
This has to be one of my all time favorites. I love the
patinae effect and the jewel-like eyes, it reminds me
of the art nouveau period in it's colour sense.
|

2. Blossom - Sold
My first blossom bead and the start of a new breed of
owl. The eyes are beautifully intense, love this little
one. |

3. Summer - sold
Warm drifting colour, hovering dust motes. Made from a
wonderful frit on a base of silver pink with raku accents
and aurora eyes. |

4. Honey Blossom
A new technique for me that is extreme 3D. Each feather
is 'imploded' within clear glass, often used for flowers
but all I saw were owl feathers. I'm thinking that there
will be a new member of the Owl Blossom family soon. |

5. Ollie - sold
Organic and curvy with lots of silver. He's puffed his
feathers out to guard against the cold.
|

6. Marilyn - sold
When I saw the beauty spot on her face I immediately though
of Marilyn Monroe. A blend of extraordinary glasses form
the details of this glamorous owl. |

7. Stern Stan - sold
Silver Cinnamon struck to a wonderful range of toasty
colours. Silvered ivory feathers and beautiful eyes.
|

8. Boo n Hoo - sold
What a great matched pair! I am so happy they turned out
so close to each other. |

9. Angela - sold
I started putting angel wings on the back of the owls...
see next image. She also has a sweet angelic expression.
Lots of raku details and swirly aurora eyes. |

10. Angela - back view
To show the 'angel wings'. |

11. Darkangel - sold
Her eyes are simply beautiful with lots of depth and matched
with the colours in the raku details. |

12. Pinky - sold
The colours are comparable in intesity but also complementary,
so somehow it works (for me it does anyway!) |

13, Shimmy Jim - sold
A transparent amethyst base with psyche frit gone wild
on top. Iridescent colours and matching auroras in the
eyes. |

14. Chuck
The eyes are just wonderful. Little raku frit side wings
and raku details. |

15. Flitter - sold
has a silver based glass body which is a deep mysterious
colour. Raku frit side wings and opal eyes. |

16. Memphis - sold
Avocado marble body wrapped in silver and topaz dots for
feathers. the dots turned multihued for an interesting
effect. Cool opal eyes. |

17. Tom
One of my alltime favorites. I don't know if I will ever
be able to part with him. I love how the colours echo
in the body and eyes even though they are completely different
glasses. |

18. McDreamy - sold
Michaelangelo is one of y favorite glasses because of
it's range of blues and their intensity in the one glass.
The eyes are focal points because of their paler golden
hue. |

19. Parliament - sold
It had to be done. The collective noun for a group of
owls. I love these little guys they are such individuals. |

20. Violetta
Wonderful deep intense violets, indigos and blues with
some enhancing complementaries. Very happy - I don't know
if I can part with her. |

21. Marmaduke
I tried an experiment with getting a layer of pure silver
behind the eyes which is that intense orange in the right
hand eye. It's pretty :-) I don't like the back though,
I don't know what possessed me to ruin it! |

22. Cherie - sold
She has a cheeky bright expression. Cool organic effects
in her body to give that camouflaged feather look. |
